"Q&A Part Two" is the second sermon in this series. Habakkuk receives troubling news from the Lord as he learns that the Babylonian empire is coming to conquer his people. As a result, the questioning prophet has even more questions, asking them in greater length this time. The Lord replies again.
"Q&A Part One" is the first sermon in this series. Habakkuk is a prophet of Judah with some sincere complaints about the state of the world in his day. He laments to the Lord and God gives him a vision to share with the people.
"Return to Basics" is the tenth sermon in this series. Peter ends the letter by teaching the saints the basics of Christian living. Peter is clear that all Christians ought to be humble, even in their anxieties. He warns them to be watchful for their adversary the devil, and finally to be together in support of the mission.
"Leadership" is the ninth sermon in this series. Near the close of his first letter, Peter gives an exhortation to pastors. Pastors should guide and shepherd the flock of God and be an example to the church in their conduct and leadership. The church should follow the loving leadership of healthy pastors.
"Suffering" is the eighth sermon in this series. We should not be surprised when we encounter suffering in our lives. We live in a fallen world full of people antagonistic toward the gospel. Peter reminds us that God is glorified in our suffering and we are sanctified in our suffering.
"Stewardship" is the seventh sermon in this series. Peter continues his theme of hope and holiness, calling believers to not return to their former sinful lives. Instead, they should live in the grace they’ve been given, showing that same grace to others around them as stewards of grace and the gospel.
"Witness" is the sixth sermon in this series. Peter continues in a common theme, acknowledging the suffering of many Christian Gentiles who are dispersed throughout the nations. He exhorts Christians to maintain a good witness and always be ready to defend their hope and faith.
"Marriage" is the fifth sermon in this series. Peter continues to examine areas of our life where holiness is important. He moves on to the topic of marriage and gives us practical instruction on how husbands and wives should conduct themselves in a way that’s pleasing to the Lord.
