"Reputation" is the fourth sermon in this series. Peter urges believers who are living in a predominately non-Christian world to live a life of submission and peace. Peter calls believers to model the gospel by resisting culture’s urges to sin and also being obedient to the government and masters.
"Church" is the third sermon in this series. Peter gives a theological description of what the church is: God’s called out people who have come to Him through Jesus Christ. The church is a spiritual house, made of living stones and holy priests.
"Holiness" is the second sermon in this series. Peter opens his letter with glorious doctrine of a living hope. He proceeds to call Christians living as exiles in this world to live a life of holiness, being set apart as witnesses to the gospel and servants of the church.
"Elect Exiles" is the first sermon in this series. This week Pastor Jeremy opens our new sermon series in 1 Peter. The passages examines Christians in Asia Minor who are called to remember their promise and inheritance in Christ as they grieve over their various kinds of trials. Peter reminds them of their living hope in the midst of their difficulty.
