"Claims Of Healing and Resurrection" is the nineteenth sermon in this series. Jesus heals two people in this text: one a young girl and one an older woman. Both were in a position of complete helplessness. One was healed as a result of her faith, another was healed through the faith of others. Both were saved by a sovereign healer.
"Well Known Insane Man Now Sane" is the eighteenth sermon in this series. Jesus is confronted by another person under the oppression of demonic possession. This time, our Lord is in a predominantly gentile area and the man is possessed by multitude of demons (a legion).
"Sudden Change of Forecast" is the seventeenth sermon in this series. Jesus ends up crossing the sea with His disciples when a great storm comes upon them. Jesus demonstrates His power by calming the storm for the terrified apostles.
"Jesus Continues To Teach With Parable Method" is the sixteenth sermon in this series. Jesus gives us a few more parables to teach us about the kingdom, expanding from his four soils parable. He compares the kingdom to a lamp that should not be placed under a basket, a harvest that begins with a handful of seeds, and a mustard seed that sprouts into a large tree. The point is that the kingdom of God is expansive and pervasive.
"Jesus Teaches About Agriculture" is the fifteenth sermon in this series. Jesus tells a parable of four kinds of soils, comparing the seeds that are sown to the good news of the Kingdom. Parables can be confusing at times. They especially were for the disciples. But in them lie some of the greatest and most relatable truths.
"Jesus of Nazareth Says He’s Starting a 'Family'" is the fourteenth sermon in this series. Jesus describes the family of God to be whoever does the will of God, claiming that those people are his brothers and sisters and mother. This strange statement is almost to the dismissal of His earthly family and is alarming to those around Him.
"Accusations of Blasphemy Against Nazarene" is the thirteenth sermon in this series. As the Pharisees bring in reinforcements from Jerusalem, they accuse Jesus of blasphemy and even demonic possession. Jesus responds by pointing out their own sin of blasphemy against His Holy Spirit.
"Following of Nazarene Preacher Grows" is the twelfth sermon in this series. A plethora of people became interested in Jesus’ ministry. Some people were genuinely looking for salvation in faith, but others were following merely for personal benefits. Jesus calls 12 out of the true disciples to appoint them as apostles.
