"The Perfect Imperfect Church" is the first sermon in this series. The Church at Corinth was a jacked up church, indeed. Filled with all kinds of sin, Paul writes them a letter of correction. In the midst of all the rebuke needed, Paul begins the letter by reminding them of the gospel and the Corinthians’ new identity in Christ. Though they be sinful, they are saints in Christ.

"Psalm 23" is the third sermon in this series. The 23rd Psalm is known and memorized by many people. We’re familiarized with it as a psalm of comfort, commonly shared at funerals. What we see clearly in these lyrics, is that our God is a caring and providing shepherd.

"Psalm 95" is the second sermon in this series. Psalm 95 is an exhortation to joyful worship and praise. David leads congregations to worship as well as reflection upon God’s commandment to remain in His care. Praise is not merely an event, but a way we live our lives.

 "Psalm 51" is the first sermon in this series. Psalm 51 is a song of confession, sorrow, and repentance. David has become strongly aware of his sin and writes a song reflecting on his grave sin with Bathsheba. It serves as a great reminder that God is a great forgiver toward us.

"Bad Cop" is the first sermon in this series. This week Paul writes to the church on how not to act as believers. Paul starts the chapter teaching us our position in Christ and quickly warns the church to put off certain things.

"Triumph" is the fourth sermon in this series. Jude ends his letter in praise. After addressing key needs in the church he cannot resist breaking into adoration for our God’s great work in salvation. His doxology is praise inducing for us today. 

"Support" is the third sermon in this series. In difficult times, the church needs to be a support for the brothers and sisters of the faith. Given the perilous false teaching of Jude’s day, he warns the church divisions but exhorts them to show mercy. Mercy always overpowers evil in the end.

"Alert" is the second sermon in this series. Jude shows himself to be a good preacher in his letter as he outlines a case against the false teachers in the church using scripture, illustration, and application. His warnings to the church then ring true for the church today. We learn from scripture our susceptibility to live for ourselves instead of Christ and we must guard against those who do so.
